"They PAY me to make little pictures?" Cool.

Dorothy Shaw has a B.A. in Illustration and Design, and a successful, award-winning career as a graphic designer and art director in ad agencies. After moving from Texas to Oklahoma City with her husband Ron, she opened her agency, dotgraphics. Once self-employed, she was free to pursue a wider range of interests, including illustrating children's books, painting and travel.

She is drawn to visualizing text into art, spilling life onto paper. What is the color of comfort, the shape of love, the smell of sunshine? How can the feeling of a warm hug be printed on a page? Can music crash out  of a piano as waves of emotion? How do images inform the viewer and add value to the text, or vice versa?

She is honored to have worked with so many wonderful people, agencies and companies, and to serve as a creator for her Creator.
